Hi
I'm new to Spring ownership and this forum, so still getting to know the vehicle and exploring its capabilities, or maybe lack of them!
Anyway I have encountered a few minor issues which I expect others have met so thought that I'd mention them
1) The indicated range within the car and on the app is quoted in kilometres. This appears to have been fixed today.
2) The instrument display seems to be erratic varying in brilliance and at times difficult to see. I spent a while discussing this with customer services but have now discovered the culprit. There is a light sensor on top of the dash for the auto headlights - and this also dims the instrument display to prevent dazzle in low light. It certainly does this, but over compensates in low light making the display hard to read. So not a fault, just a characteristic which I could probably do without.
3) I've noticed a glitch within the Energy page of the multimedia display: The summary box displays energy consumption in kilowatts per 100 miles (kWh/100m) figure but with a miles-per-kilowatt-hour (mpkWh) marking - so it doesn't align with the data shown within the main instrument display. To the right of this, the consumption since the journey start is correctly shown in mpkWh which does corresponds with the markings. Anyway no big deal and I'm sure it will be fixed if a few of us complain!. On the same subject I am getting some pretty efficient readings from my car (now that I understand the display), though this does require a lot of restraint on open roads.
All told though the car does its job and rides quite pleasantly over our broken roads. I must admit I purchased it as a pre-registered car at a knockdown price - but I just hope this isn't an omen for future depreciation. Then again, if I wanted certainty I would probably have purchased a petrol model aqt a much higher price. Time will tell.
